Understanding Medicaid Video Series

Posted on

Disability Rights Texas (DRTx) collaborated with Imagine Art to produce a video series to help people with disabilities understand Medicaid and get help with access to Medicaid services.

The video series covers everything you need to know about Medicaid, including waivers and person-centered planning. The video series also talks about how to get help with your Medicaid services, whether you lost or were denied access, or you need to file a complaint. By watching these videos, you will have the information you need to advocate for yourself and get help so you can access Medicaid services, leading to an enhanced quality of life.

The videos are provided in plain language. English and Spanish captions are provided, and American Sign Language (ASL) is also included.

All of the videos are available in the Understanding Medicaid playlist on the DRTx YouTube channel. The specific videos are listed below.

The creation of this video series was funded through a grant Imagine Art received from the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities.
